Brushfire! is a low budget black-and-white jungle warfare adventure exploitation film produced, directed and co-written by Jack Warner, Jr the only son of Jack L. Warner of Warner Bros.. Warner planned on making two more films under his Obelisk Productions company but they were never produced. It was filmed at the time of the beginning of American involvement in Viet Nam and Laos brushfire conflicts.

John Ireland as Jeff and Everett Sloane as Chevern play two American World War II veterans who have settled as farmers in a Southeast Asian nation. When a group of guerillas under the leadership of Martin (Carl Esmond) and Vlad (Howard Caine) abduct a young American couple, Tony (Al Avalon) and Easter (Jo Morrow) Banford the two vets use their expertise in jungle warfare and their familiarity with the land to destroy the guerillas and rescue the couple.

Maria plays Lin Chan, Chevern’s wife. When he explains to her that he wants to help Jeff rescue the American couple she tells him that she may not wait for him and leave with their children.

Bachelor Father

1957-1962

Bachelor Father follows the adventures of Bentley Gregg (John Forsythe), a wealthy bachelor attorney living in Beverly Hills who assumes the responsibility of raising his niece, Kelly (Noreen Corcoran), after her parents died in an automobile accident. Other members of the cast included houseboy Peter Tong (Sammee Tong), teenage neighbor and Kelly’s on and off boyfriend, Howard Meechum (Jimmy Boyd), Kelly’s best friend, Ginger Farrell (Bernadette Withers) and Jasper, the dog.

This sitcom premiered on CBS in 1957 before moving to NBC for the third season in 1959. The series’ fifth and final season aired in ABC in 1961/2. The series was based on “A New Girl in His Life,” which aired on General Electric Theater on May 26, 1957. It is the only primetime series ever to run in consecutive years on the three major television networks, ABC, CBS and NBC.

Manhattan’s 87th precinct forms the backdrop for this grim and gritty American crime and police drama based on the long-running series of novels by Ed McBain. The storylines focus on neighborhood crime, and the lives of the officers of the 87th and their families: Det. Steve Carella (Robert Lansing) and his deaf/mute wife; rookie Det. Bert Kling (Ron Harper); long-time veteran Det. Roger Havilland (Gregory Walcott) and the wryly philosophical Det. Meyer Meyer (Norman Fell).

Veteran patrolman Pat Forman, who is due to retire in a few days, is out on the beat showing the ropes to his replacement, Eddie Haines. A jangling burglar alarm sends them running to a
supermarket where Eddie is gunned down by the fleeing thief. What does Pat Forman know and how is he involved in this crime?

Bentley (John Forsythe) and Peter (Sammee Tong) panic when they hear from Kelly (Noreen Corcoran), who is waitressing in Yellowstone, and who informs them she’s getting married. They immediately head to the park to put a stop to her wedding to budding forest ranger Bruce Dalton (Gary Clarke).

While in Yellowstone both Bentley and Peter find themselves in the company of attractive and interesting women, Loretta Prentice (Allison Hayes), who manages the waitresses, and lepidopterist Lin Sing (Maria McClay). All three couples independently decide to spend some time in a near by mountain lodge, leading to all manners of confusion and hijinks and an encounter with a large bear.
